Gerry Rushton Stables currently stands 3 very different stallions that serve a wonderful purpose in a World Class breeding program.
CCR's Outrajus Corajus has proven himself as a show horse time and time again. Now it's time for him as a stallion. He puts the good hook in his neck on his babies as well as long legs. The "OC" babies are smart and game to work and have proven very trainable. They are solid thinkers and pleasant to be around. While he has produced babies that are in a variety of disciplines, all have easily found a successful niche and are quite saleable. We like this about him as each baby has a spot in this world and serves a purpose well. If you are breeding your mare with hopes of improving her attitude or putting some curves on a straight neck or body, "OC" is your guy. These babies do tend to take a while to mature as they are leggy as 2 yr olds. But, not to worry...they are built to last. At 15 yrs old, "OC" just won his 4th World Grand Championship...unanimously.
MLF Sharper Image is turning out to be a wonderful option for mare owners! With only a few babies on the ground, his first hit the show ring this year and won from Santa Barbara to Oklahoma in the tough 2 yr old park harness division. "Sharpy" puts a FUN attitude on his babies (as he himself has) and puts their necks on very well! We have had particular success breeding him to Bell Flaire mares. His stud fee is very reasonable and he looks to be making solid, talented show horses. If your mares needs a better placement to her neck, a happier attitude, or needs help in the correct conformation/soundness department "Sharpy" is a great choice!
The Real Deal, "Ace", is bred to be what he is and is passing the best of himself on. Size and talent are not accidental here, they were carefully bred into this horse and that gives him the genetic ability to pass them on. He is 16.3 hands, dark in color, and very talented. Solid boned, his is built to be sound and is. He is game and all show horse and has never quit a day in his life. He has 3 foals on the ground...all fillies. One is the same color as he is, the other 2 are black. All are big and talented. He will add size and motion...period. We are excited about this horse as a breeding horse.
Take a moment to click on these stallions and see their own pages that contain pictures of them as well as some of their offspring. Some even have videos. Breeding contracts can be downloaded or sent by e-mailing StacyatGRStables@AOL.com |
