Our beautiful lesson horses range from trusted family companions, to former World Champions. Each one has its own unique personality and style. We trust them with the lives of our students, so their importance to our program is immeasurable!
Charlie
NBN Challenger aka Charlie is a 26 year old Morgan gelding from a very famous family. His sire was a World Champion, and his full sister is a very famous Morgan broodmare who produced several World Champions! One of Charlie's claims to fame is that he raised and trained Eric Antman, one of our premier professional trainers here in California. Charlie is a very smart and experienced guy!
Clara
Clara is our token Haflinger horse! Haflingers originated in the Tyrolean Mountains, which run between Italy and what is Austria, today. These horses were surefooted and could carry riders and gear safely through the narrow mountain trails. All Haflingers are a beautiful chestnut with luxurious flaxen manes and tails. Clara is a barn favorite of riders of all ages!
Rayatta
HP Yippie Ki-A GCH is a beautiful 15 year old Morgan mare. Rayatta has been graciously loaned to us by owners Hal and Stacey Parker and she has quickly fit into our program and become a favorite of many riders. Rayatta is the smoothest horse you’ll ever ride and is wonderfully trained which makes teaching on her a treat! Rayatta seems to like apples more than the average treat but, she’s happy to take any reward given to her after she is ridden.
Harley
Harlington's Farquar GCH aka Harley is an adorable 17 year old gelding that screams Morgan with his beautiful face and tons of personality! Harley is another World Champion in our lesson program who earned his GCH (Grand Champion) title with his accomplishments. We are incredibly fortunate that Lisa Reif has allowed us to use Harley, and he is a great lesson horse! He’s so well trained and is the BEST horse ever to teach riders to canter properly. Harley likes the grain treats that we generally give him after he works, but he’s not opposed to other tasty treats like apples and carrots.

Henry
Arboria Invictus GCH aka Henry was World Champion Morgan horse. Every horse has a specialty and Henry’s was being our perfect, patient beginner horse. Nearly every rider that started here started on Henry, and he gave them the confidence and skills to move up to the next horse. We said goodbye to Henry the summer of 2021 at the age of 19.
